Equipment pumper built on a Spartan Metro Star chassis. It has a
450-hp Cummins ISL 9 diesel engine, a four-seat cab with an EMS
cabinet, a Waterous CVSU 1,250-gpm pump, a 750-gallon Pro
Poly water tank, an Elkhart Stinger deck gun with a TFT Extenda-Gun, a Zico hydraulic ladder rack, FRC floodlights, and Whelen
Alexis Fire Equipment
The Lawrence (IN) Fire Department has in service this Pierce
Enforcer pumper with a 10-inch raised-roof cab. It is powered by
a 450-hp Cummins ISL 9 diesel engine and has a Waterous CSU
2,000-gpm pumper with six-inch front intake. It has a UPF 500-gal-
lon water tank, Whelen scene lights, and roll-up compartment doors.
Grunthal (MB) Fire Rescue placed in service this rescue truck built by
Fort Garry Fire Trucks and mounted on an International 4400 chassis. It has a 300-hp Cummins diesel engine and an Allison 3000 EVS
transmission. The 20-foot walk-in body is aluminum. It has a Winco
25-k W PTO generator, a Command Light on the roof of the body,
and a portable 9,500-pound Warn winch with four receivers.
Fort Garry Fire Trucks
The Salt Spring Island (BC) Fire Department operates this pumper/
tanker built by Midwest Fire Tanker on a Freightliner M2 106 chassis.
It has a 350-hp Cummins ISL 9 diesel engine, a Hale MBP 1,000-
gpm PTO pump, an APR 3,000-gallon water tank, three 10-inch
Newton dump valves with telescoping chutes, two 2½-inch direct
tank fills, and a Zico rack for a 3,000-gallon portable water tank.
Midwest Fire Tanker
Saddle Hills County in Spirit River (AB) Canada has in service this
“Terminator” wildland pumper by Fort Garry Fire Trucks. It has a
Freightliner M2 106 4 × 4 chassis, a 350-hp Cummins ISL diesel
engine, a Darley PSR 1,250-gpm pump, a Foam Pro 2002 system,
an 800-Imperial-gallon water tank, a 25-gallon foam tank, and a
TFT Tornado bumper turret.
Fort Garry Fire Trucks
Harrods Creek (KY) has in service this Custom Fire pumper on a
Sutphen chassis. Specs include a 450-hp Cummins diesel engine,
a Waterous CSUC20 1,500-gpm pump, a 600-gallon water tank,
two-inch crosslays, two 2½-inch rear preconnects, an extended
front bumper with hose well, a Honda portable generator, FRC
telescoping floodlights, and hydraulic rescue tool reels.
