The Newburgh (NY) Fire Department received this 28-foot fire/
rescue boat built by Lake Assault Boats, LLC. It has twin 250-hp
Honda outboard motors, a fully enclosed CBRNE-rated pilot
house, and a landing craft style hull with a hydraulic bow door.
There is a Darley 2,000-gpm pump, foam capabilities, and a
built-in hose storage compartment.
Lake Assault Boats, LLC
The Union Fire Company of Bala Cynwyd, Lower Merion
Township (PA), operates this E-ONE LTHM 100-foot rear
mount aerial. Mounted on a Cyclone II chassis, it is powered by
a 500-hp Cummins ISX 12 diesel engine with Allison 4000 EVS
transmission. It has an eight-seat cab, ROM roll-up doors, a Harrison 10-k W generator, and Whelen scene and brow lights.
E-ONE Fire Apparatus
The LeDuc County Fire Services, in Nisku (AB), Canada, placed
two pumpers in service. Built by Fort Garry Fire Trucks on
Spartan Metro Star chassis, they have a Darley PSP 1,050-Igpm
pump with a Foam Pro 2001 system. They have a Wellington
Plastics 1,000-Igallon water and 10- and 24-Igallon foam tanks.
They have Elkhart Cobra EXM monitors, a Honda 5-k W generator, and FRC scene lighting.
Fort Garry Fire Trucks
The Germantown (TN) Fire Department has in service this
Ferrara pumper mounted on an Inferno chassis. It has a 500-hp
Cummins ISX15 diesel engine, an aluminum body with ROM
satin finish doors, a Waterous CSU 1,250-2,000-gpm pump, a
Foam Pro 1600 system, UPF 750-gallon water and 30-gallon
foam tanks, a single-arm hydraulic Ziamatic ladder rack, and
Whelen Pioneer scene lighting.
Ferrara Fire Apparatus
The Jefferson (AL) Fire Department responds with these two
pumpers built by Marion Body Works. They have Spartan Gladiator MFD chassis with 10-inch raised roof cabs. They are powered
by a 450-hp Cummins ISL9 diesel engine and have aluminum bodies. Features include a Waterous CSU 1,500-gpm pump, a 750-gal-
lon water tank, a backup camera, and Whelen scene lighting.
Marion Body Works
The West Cape May (NJ) Fire Department has in service this
KME Predator pumper with LFD chassis and 10-inch raised roof
cab with six seats. It has a 450-hp Cummins ISL 9 diesel engine,
a Hale Q-Two 2,000-gpm pump with six-inch front intake, a
Waterous Advantus 6 Class “A” foam system, a 1,000-gallon
water and a 30-gallon foam tank, a TFT Monsoon monitor, and
an Onan 8-k W generator.
